Parent Zone

Shurdington Pre-School is a registered charity relying on community support and fundraising. We passionately believe that children benefit most from the Pre-School and Early Years experience when Parents, staff and volunteers work together in partnership and this underpins all we do here at Shurdington Pre-School.

There are many ways you can be involved in your child’s Pre-School experience here at Shurdington and we welcome all contributions that fit in with Parent’s and Guardian’s other commitments.

Pre-School Fundraising

As a charity and while aiming to cover our costs with fees and funding we try to supplement our income through fundraising to help renew resources or offer different experiences. Throughout the year we run a variety of fundraising events organised through our Committee and all help is appreciated. Whether you are helping to set up and run an event, letting family and friends know about our Open Days, or donating unwanted gifts to a tombola or raffle, it all helps us run Pre-School for your children.

Pre-School Committee

Shurdington Pre-School is run by a voluntary Management Committee made up of current and past parents. New parents are always welcome at our meetings.

During your child’s time at Shurdington Pre-School we will enter their achievements and Magic Moments onto Tapestry our online learning journal for you to access at anytime.
