Fees & Funding

We are a registered charity and strive to provide high quality Early Years Childcare at reasonable prices, relying on community support and fundraising.

Shurdington Pre-School fees are currently charged at £6.50 per hour (if any hours are used over your funding entitlement). This reduces to £6.00 per hour the term after they turn 3 and are due be reviewed for January 2027. We accept most childcare voucher schemes and the tax free childcare payments.

In addition to our fees, we also charge a voluntary snack and consumables charge depending on sessions as per below:

* 1-2 sessions a week = £32.50

* 3-4 sessions a week = £37.50

* 5-6 sessions a week = £42.50

* 7-8 sessions a week = £47.50

* 9-10 sessions a week = £52.50

This will be added to your invoice in accordance with the number of sessions your child attends as above, therefore will be charged 3 times a year.

Invoices are raised at the start of each term which is usually around the 1st of September, 1st of January and the 1st of April and will be due for payment in 28 days. Parents / guardians of children who are eligible for Funding will need to complete the funding form for us so that their funding can be claimed before the funding deadline. Full fees will still be payable if children are absent from Pre-School due to holidays or sickness.
