Shurdington Pre-School currently employs 7 members of staff who are all DBS checked and have attended Child Protection Training, Paediatric First Aid Training and Food Hygiene Qualifications.
All staff at Shurdington Pre-School attend regular Continuous Professional Development based on new ideas and strategies in the Early Years sector both in Gloucestershire and nationwide.
Kelly is our Manager holding a Level 3 NVQ in Childcare, Learning and Development who started her journey with Shurdington Pre-School as a parent and then became an employee a year later whilst she continued her NVQ’s. Kelly’s two sons have both attended the Pre-School.
Nicola is our Administrator who works in the setting and mainly deals with funding, invoicing, sessions and will process all of your details when you join to make sure we know everything about the children before they start with us.
Flo is the Deputy Manager and has a Level 3 NVQ in Childcare, Learning and Development. She has spent many years with us and her youngest child recently left our Pre-School.
Penny is the Early Years Educator in Butterflies and is our SENCO. She also holds a Level 3 NVQ and has been with us since volunteering at Pre-School when her son attended several years ago.
Jemma joined us to help in Butterflies, has a Level 2 Childcare Qualification. She has enjoyed getting to know all our children’s personalities.
Jessica has joined the team to help with our increasing number of Two Year Old’s in Caterpillar’s and has gained knowledge and experience from her previous setting where she gained her Level 2 Qualification.
Lynn started with us to cover staff training or illness so works on a part time basis. She worked for nearly 20 years at another Pre-School where she gained her Level 3 qualification before joining us.
